No Teeth is a band from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (I think that is somewhere in England). When I started Fuzzy Sun they were one of the first bands I got to know. Next to the fact they are quite friendly chaps, their music is pretty cool too.
Their first released EP is called ‘Wither’ and got me hooked instantly. Their are still moments I wake up in the morning and start singing “She’s A Lizaaaaaaard”. On ‘Wither’ the band produces catchy DIY doompop tracks wich are an absolute joy to listen to.
The band is experimental, that is for sure and you can mostly hear it in their later music. 2018 brought ‘Black Butter’, in 2019 a couple of singles and something of an EP kinda thingy. These tracks are raw, unfiltered songs, bringing an experimental side to the band. The producing could be better though, it’s a shame they did not trow a bag of money at it.
The latest single ‘Under Confederate Law (Feed The Ducks)’ is something else again. A hazy bedroom indie doom track.
So I have a strong WTF-vibe with this band. I absolutely love their music and I hope they will release something new soon (hopefully with good producing), with a lot of tracks on it. I could research about them but since I am quite lazy so I decided to just type some questions I want answers too and send it to them. These are the things that are bugging me most.
Fuzzy Sun: the music music is mostly weird, are you guys weird too?
No Teeth: We stray not from the boundaries that you have set us, in short yes, but simply maybe.
Fuzzy Sun: With how many are you exactly? I have the feeling No Teeth is growing in members and are you all real?
No Teeth: There is currently 6 of us and I can assure you we are all at least partly real.
Fuzzy Sun: Whats with all these EP, singles and stuff? when are we getting a full LP?
Fuzzy Sun: We are planning to release more suitable content within the next few months.
Fuzzy Sun: I have the feeling you guys are going deeper in the weird, I am still addicted to the track ‘Lizard’, can we expect more music like this are are you really going hipster weird?
No Teeth: Expect nothing. In truth we have no idea.
Fuzzy Sun: Who is the boss of the band, and how do you decide that, is it the strongest? If you had a fight to the death, who in the band would win.
No Teeth: In hand to hand combat it is difficult to tell who would win, partly due to the fact none of us have any hands!
Fuzzy Sun: one of you guys (probably the loser of the band) buys a lottery tickzet for the whole band, and he goes to collect it and sees its worth a million. what would happen?
No Teeth: There’d be a new chain of soft plays on the rise I can assure you that. Our business ball pools would be well esteemed in the financial committee alongside our well trained parrots. We share everything, especially vegetation.

No Teeth: Mole rats are beautiful on the inside.
