Quebec rockers Population II are going to release an album on Castle Face Records (the label from John Dwyer from Thee Oh Sees). Their first track ‘Instrospection’ is already out now and is quite impressive, this is fuzz fueled heavy psych of great quality.
The band will release their full album ‘À la Ô Terre’ on October 30 and I for one am very much looking forward to hear more of this gorgeous fuzz.
Now the second track is out and is again very impressive, the track is called ‘Il eut un Silence dans le Ciel’ and is really trippy, the band plays with hypnotic kraut and balances between easy psych and heavy psych.
