The Toronto band Lammping released their new album ‘Flashjacks’. You can buy the 10 track album digitally as well as on vinyl. With ‘Flashjacks’ the band walks the line between experimental psych and fuzzed out garagerock and thsi gives the full album a bluesy dreamlike atmosphere.
The German trio Acid Roosterreleased their new album ‘Irrlichter’ July 30 and. The band makes really trippy instrumental psychedelia and kraut. The LP is sold out by now and if you are really sad about that you can buy yourself a tote bag. Tune in for four really psychedelic tracks.
A couple of days ago I saw Kikagaku Moyo live and it was a while ago I saw good concerts due that virus thingy and it really blew my mind and now I am back in the Japanese Psych rabbit hole and to fuel that fire Acid Mothers Temple has released a lot of albums. Live albums, remix versions. rare stuff, audio sessions,… . lets get trippy. A while ago I made a list but I got stuck due to laziness.The band is also on my favourite list: the cosmic side of Japan.
The Connicticut trio Grizzlor will release their new album ‘Hammer of Life’ on Hex Records on the first of October. Grizzlor absolutely rips on this first three tracks. This will be again an awesome noiserock album, I can just feel it already. Pre-order it and stuff.

First off all I would like to say I have had to wait way too long for a new album by the brothers Andy and Edwin, I know they probably are busy and have a life and stuff like that but you have to understand that the previous full album ‘Sorcerer’ is one of my all time favourite experimental psych albums and that I react like a 5 year old when it comes about waiting. But I forgive them, I forgive them because i listened to the new track and it is beautiful. Tro͞olē byo͞odəfəl.
I couple of weeks ago I strained my neck and now I can take these really yummy painkillers and I think it makes this new track even more byo͞odəfəl. The trippy song is called “What Has Happened ” and is from the upcoming album “Petunia”. Out on Mexican Summer October 22.
Imagine a meadow, full of lush greens and flowers, the sun is shining, a couple of small clouds caress the deep blue sky and in the meadow two weird nude hippies run around completely high of paddos. That is the soundtrack for this new track.

After a two decade hiatus noiserock trio Cherubs returned in 2014 and they released 2 Ynfynyty in 2015, a split with Gay Witch Abortion in 2016 and the Fist in The Air EP in 2016. In 2019 they released the excellent album ‘Immaculada High’.
Now they are going to release a new EP called ‘SLO BLO 4 FRNZ & SXY’ which will be released in October. The first track is called ‘Lazy Snakes’ and now the second one is out and it is called ‘A Pair of Pear Tarts’ and i don’t know what to say except that it is Cherubs at their best. Gorgeous noise and riffs in your face.
Japanese rockers Boris keep releasing amazing stuff, their bandcamp is like Alladin’s Cave so be sure to check out all the outtakes, specials, live recordings and remasters and stuff that are on there. But we are here to check out this excellent live recordings from the No World Tour. Excellent hardcore, doom and stuff like that and now you can hear that they rule live too.

Through the Australian band Lost Talk I came to know the band Macros with members of LOST TALK, Overtime, Mile End, Mongrel Country. And then I forgot about them again.
So it feels like a kinda new discovery all over again, which is nice. I knew I was impressed with their debut EP in 2019 and was pleasantly surprised that this new EP is really cool. It is a bit a mix of hardcore, noiserock and stuff like that, it is called Brain Tattoo and it perfectly fits my abysmal mood this moring.
Feeling shitty today? tune in to Macros, it will not help you mood at all but it is awesome nonetheless.

The Myrrors make highly hypnotic music, you can feel the desert vibes flowing throughout their music, all the exotic instruments and the drone make it even more trippy. The slow rythm of their music, the sparse vocals give it an almost ominous vibe. These are some lost singles and just like all their other music it is really great stuff. The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’ in 2020 and now they are back with a new self titled album. The beast is out on the great Cruel nature Records.
I could feel it without hearing the music first that this would be an absolutely awesome album. How could I feel it you would ask yourself but I can’t tell because its a secret. Anyhow, I have proven to be right because every track on this album is extremely cool. If you are planning on becoming one of the cool kids then the new Cronies should be the album you namedrop every few hours. Scream at other people that the new Cronies is the best, that is its full of brutal noiserock, oldschool riffs and agressive grunge. Scream at them in the streets, scream at them at work, at school. Scream at them in traffic. Scream it at your family. Scream along in the street while doing airguitar. Scream the lyrics while listening on your headphones.
Or don’t do anything of these things and just be a boring turd.

Can’t get enough of the gorgeous psychedelic Brazilian psychpop that Bike makes? Well, you are in luck, They have not only released a live session a while ago, they just released a second volume and on it you can expect very trippy and easy going psych, for the most chill among us. Go outside, lay in the grass, look a t the clouds and listen to BIKE.
On Hominid returns the duo Big Lad. They will release a new album called ‘Power Tools’ on September 10 and the first two tracks are out and it I can’t discribe it better than the title of that song, ‘Big Juggernaut Rave Party. Tune in for some intense stuff.

One of my favourite newish bands is Chat Pile, a band that kinda difficult to pin down and has the sound like an industrial concrete mixer. If you don’t know them I really need you to listen to ‘Remove Your Skin Please’ and I promise you will be blow away.A while ago they did a Sepultura cover for the Flenser’s upcoming compilation. Now they released a split with Portayle of Guilt. The track is called ‘A Brutal Truth’ and maybe their sludgieiest and hievyiest track till now.
Bummer is a trio from Kansas City and they have made some pretty damn awesome stuff already, first got to know them through their ‘Thanks For Nothing’ EP and after that they released the split with The Body. Now it seems the band has grown, in which I mean that they have become even more brutal in their sound. The first track is out and is called ‘JFK Speedwagon’ is already out and now they released the second one. ‘Dead Horse’ will be out September 24.
Your favourite Australian duo is back! Jem and Jace made a new album called ‘Up Yours’. With Dead they have made some pretty awesome stuff before, always heavy, riff fueled music. ‘Up Yours’ is nasty, loud and made for listinging on max volume. Sometimes I get some Entombed vibes too which only makes it better. Dead is on one my duo list too, And on the Australian list. Order the LP on the bandcamp page now.
It is a long title but it is definitly worth it. You humans know by know I am a fan of all the Japanese noise and doom and psych and that I am always excited if there is something new from Acid Mothers Temple, and it is not only something new, it is even a new offshoot of the band called The Infinity Rising Zero . A while ago I made a list but I got stuck due to laziness.The band is also on my favourite list: the cosmic side of Japan.

But we are not only here for Japanese weirdo music, we get new music from the Boston spacelords Perhaps too, a band who has made the most cosmic music. They shared an edit of the first track ‘Mad Smiles already and it is 7 minutes of truly trippy music.

The Baltimore noiserockers Gloop released the album ‘Smiling Lines’ in September 2019 and that was a really good one so I am glad to hear they are back with new music. The second track is out and is called ‘Shadows’ and is taken from the album ‘Crayon Sun’ and will be released August 20.
The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’ in 2020 and I was really blown away by the album so I am really glad they are back with new music. They have a new track out called ‘Neanderthal Sweep’ and it is taken from their upcoming album ‘Cronies’ which will ber release on Cruel Nature Records August 27.
The track is as good as I hoped it would be, promising a strong and heavy album. Noiserock melting your face off but still you can hear their psychedelic side too, a track with a vintage feel to it invoking some grunge and heavy psych vibes .
This is going to be a very good one.
