Mummise Guns release their new album on Riot Season Records

Mummise Gunes is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them are on one or another end of the year list.

I really expected a lot from this band, you know, it is filled with members of all these other great bands so the bar was high. And they filled those expectations! Their self titled album is a magnificent piece of work. All these different (heavy) styles come together and I though it would create something ‘normal’ but  what we get is a wild ride full of unexpected turns. The album starts with ‘Flattenend Earth’ wich is  wild rocknroll but then ‘Glitter Balls’ is this gloomy noisy doom track. The fun with this album is that it has a bit of everything in it, wich makes it a varied and fun listen. Like ‘Forever Triggered Forever’ is this riff feuled bone crushing track and ‘Bipolar Brain Transmitter’ is this chaotic noise/spacerock track. On ‘Dog Cocked’ I get some White Zombie vibes and ‘End of Days’ is the perfect fast paces noisrock track to finish this awesome piece of work.

Mummise Guns doses you with controlled choas, wild unfermented noiserock, evil spacerock and Swamp Sludge. This album is clearly for the cool people, the question is: are you cool enough?

Second Mummise Guns track

This is a record that I look forward too! The band has already released the first track ‘Flattened Earth’ and I was really happy that I could premiere the video for that track.  The track is made of awesome riffs, a heavy rocknroll track that feels like a kick in the ribs.

Now the new track is called ‘Glitter Balls’ and it makes me truly happy that it is a completely different track, it immediatly shows that the band can do magic stuff with loud music. The new track is trippy, feels like angry aliens that are cruisin with their spaceship through the cosmos.

They will release the full album July 17th on Riot Season Records.

Video Premiere: Mummise Guns -Flattened Earth

Today is a good day, today there is a lot of awesome music released and I shared it and though, fuck this is nice. Then I got this message that asked if I wanted to share the new video from the track ‘Flattened Earth’ that was released a couple days ago. For those who have missed it: Mummise Gun is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them are on one or another end of the year list.

By now I listened a ridiculous amount of times to this track and I know this will be one of the most rocknroll albums of the year. Mummise Guns has riffs, punk, unfermented energy and psych in it. It has got it all! There is some wild chaos in there music, something that sounds untamed and feral.

This is the first track of the album that is released and I am extremely excited to hear more from this band. They will release the full album July 17th on Riot Season Records.

Mummise Guns share first track on Riot Season

Well, this is the kind of stuff that makes me do a little jump of joy! I saw a couple of days ago that there was a new band filled with people from awesome bands that have been a lot on Fuzzy Sun. Mummise Gun is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them on one or another end of the year list. These are the bands I live for, all of them make incredible riffs, there is so much energy and heaviness in these bands, they are all original and throw in some psych, noiserock, or punk or whatever in it. So when I saw this on facebook I though, this is it, this will make the shitty 2020 a lot better. The Vinyl with the same name will be released July 17th on Riot Season Records wich is a perfect home for a record like this. Now the fun can really start with the first track that has been released. The track is called ‘Flattened Earth’ and exceeds all my expectations, again gorgeous riffs, heavy vocals perfect for something like this. And lord, the solos, the solos are godlike. Five minutes of gorgeous heaviness by a new band that will rule all the lists. Press play on Mummise Guns and enjoy the wall of energetic noise.

Casual Nun release “Resort For Dead Desires”

I had heard a couple of singles from this album before the release and was getting really excited. But now I am really amazed! This four headed beast of a band made an incredible album. The first track “Party Favors” starts with a fucking Saxophone like they make the most chill music ever, but they don’t, the track slowly gets into noise territory until it blows your face away. “Zoetrope” is a track full of heavy bone shattering riffs, “PCH” is bleak psych and I am not going to walk through every song because that is just boring when you can listen to them. “Resort For Dead Desires” is heavy, really heavy and it is not only noiserock, there is psych, punk in it and whatever and maybe the coolest thing about this album is that every song is very different wich makes this album a pleasure to listen to again and again. This album is released on Hominid Sounds and needs to be in your collection. The album is released together with the digital only single containing the edited version of “A Light Plague” and the full unedited version of “Φυλαχτό”. Both tracks feature on the new LP Resort For Dead Desires in different forms. Order the Resort For Dead Desires T-Shirt and get this digi single free. New album by Casual Nun is almost there

On March 17 we get “Resort for Dead Bodies”, the new album by Casual Nun. Their are already a couple of tracks out that I have not shared yet and it is again proof that this band can make loud music in different styles and it all still fits perfectly together. “A Light Plague” is a heavy riffing noiserock track, “Φυλαχτό” is gorgeous heavy psych, “Pink Celestial Heron” goes towards bleak psych and brooding doom and “Party Favor” is just a very cool track. “Resort For Dead Bodies” is going to be awesome. Casual Nun share two tracks from upcoming album

Now this is album I am very much looking forward too. Casual Nun are four dudes from England who make loud fucking music, something between punk, noiserock and in your face rocknroll. Their new LP will be called “Resort For Dead Desires” and will be release on box records as well as Hominid Sounds. There are two tracks out. One is in your face heaviness and the other high sorcery space rock. There are only a couple of reason why some people might not like ths music:

• They are deaf
• They have explosive diarhea and they can’t leave the toilet
• They wear crocs

Casual Nun has got it all

wow, so much loud. Casual Nun has got it all.The first track “Tusk” is a heavy fast-paced noisy trash track followed by “Everyman’s Folly” wich is is almost a doom song. After this we got Truth Machines wich is just hypnotic psychedelia. Xiphoid Revolution is noise and psych wich is just pretty cool. the album ends with “stripes” wich is droning awesomeness. I say Casual Nun is just fucking cool.
