Necio Records was established in 2013 and deals in prog , psych, Stoner, doom, jazz, experimental and noise. The Peruvian label has built up quite an interesting catalogue over the years aand now comes the Peruvian band Satánicos Marihuanos with their new album ‘Inmerso en el Ande’ wich is a gorgeous mix of heavy psych, doom and space rock. Armed with only a bass and a drum this duo brings absolutely bone melting stoner doom. Their new album ‘Bunker’ is out and is called Bunker’ and is really heavy. Tracks that are minimum 8 minutes long and filled with slow distorted heaviness with the occasional grunt. Really awesome stonerdoom records, altough I would love a bit more vocals. Released on Inverted Grim-Mill Recordings.

It is now 2021 and last year was shitty and this year could be shitty too who knows but i have te perfect soundtrack for this shitty day for you. The split between MASSS from Ottawa and Wasted Cathedral from Saskatoon give us eerie drone and doom. Tune in and let the ambient sounds dominate you.
San Francisco trio The Tunnel released their latest album ‘Shapeshifter’ on Forbidden Place Records and I really liked it so I am happy to share with you their two new tracks called ‘Condemned’ and ‘Collapsed’ out on King of Sticks Recording Collaborative (https://www.kingofsticks.com/). Full set live recording that was broadcast on Japanese government-owned radio. The setlist is compiled from songs representative of their “Uppercase BORIS” distinction, including tracks from “Heavy Rocks” (2002) and “Akuma no Uta” (2003).

9 songs selected and compiled from 3 independently produced demo tapes, from the early period of Boris’s formation.
The final 10th track, “Soul Search You Sleep”, was recorded in 1996 during Boris’s first tour of the US west coast, and has been brought out of a long slumber to complete Volume Zero.

A very doomy and groovy first track from the Texas rockers Burn Ritual. An excellent riff with some great vocals make this a very cool track from their upcoming album ‘The Void’ wich will be released on Forbidden Place Records on August 7. Tune in and check out.
This is a really good label, It is mostly stoner and doom wich is pretty close to the stuff I share so this sampler is some of the best stuff you can find on the label. The music are hand-picked tracks from across the label’s 2018, 2019 and 2020 releases. Some really awesome bands like Elder and Domkraft are included. It is a pay-what-you-want album you get a T-shirt with it!
This is some godlike stonerdoom. It’s been a long time since I listen to stonerdoom and it seems Dopelord has awaken that flame again. From the first track “The Witching Hour Bell” it is clear Dopelord is going for the win with bone shattering riffs and really good vocals. When you buy this album you get six tracks with the most awesome names like “Doom Bastars”, “Hail Satan”, “Headless Decapitator”. Can you handle these riffs, can you handle this kind of dense heaviness? yes? Then listen now and listen loud. “Sign of the Devil” is out now!

Population II is a rare album from 1969 by guitarist/vocalist Holden (Who was in Blue Cheer) and drummer/keyboardist Chris Lockheed. So this was Randy’s solo project and now we get a digital release of the album. “Population II” is released February 28 on Riding Easy Records. The full album is out now and is a glorius work of vintage heavy psych.

The blbum “Shapeshifter” is something of a mix between noiserock, grunge and doom with Manson like vocals. A very dirty album that really wants a place in your collection.

Cute and cuddly looking and at the same time evil an brain destroying heavy. Fox Medicine created the cutest album cover with the heaviest music on it. Tune in for the cutest song titles like Comfort Pony and Ice Cream Man but beware, the tracks are full of punk and doom.

No Teeth is a band from Newcastle-Upon-Tyne (I think that is somewhere in England). When I started Fuzzy Sun they were one of the first bands I got to know. Next to the fact they are quite friendly chaps, their music is pretty cool too.
Their first released EP is called ‘Wither’ and got me hooked instantly. Their are still moments I wake up in the morning and start singing “She’s A Lizaaaaaaard”. On ‘Wither’ the band produces catchy DIY doompop tracks wich are an absolute joy to listen to.
The band is experimental, that is for sure and you can mostly hear it in their later music. 2018 brought ‘Black Butter’, in 2019 a couple of singles and something of an EP kinda thingy. These tracks are raw, unfiltered songs, bringing an experimental side to the band. The producing could be better though, it’s a shame they did not trow a bag of money at it.
The latest single ‘Under Confederate Law (Feed The Ducks)’ is something else again. A hazy bedroom indie doom track.
So I have a strong WTF-vibe with this band. I absolutely love their music and I hope they will release something new soon (hopefully with good producing), with a lot of tracks on it. I could research about them but since I am quite lazy so I decided to just type some questions I want answers too and send it to them. These are the things that are bugging me most.
Fuzzy Sun: the music music is mostly weird, are you guys weird too?
No Teeth: We stray not from the boundaries that you have set us, in short yes, but simply maybe.
Fuzzy Sun: With how many are you exactly? I have the feeling No Teeth is growing in members and are you all real?
No Teeth: There is currently 6 of us and I can assure you we are all at least partly real.
Fuzzy Sun: Whats with all these EP, singles and stuff? when are we getting a full LP?
Fuzzy Sun: We are planning to release more suitable content within the next few months.
Fuzzy Sun: I have the feeling you guys are going deeper in the weird, I am still addicted to the track ‘Lizard’, can we expect more music like this are are you really going hipster weird?
No Teeth: Expect nothing. In truth we have no idea.
Fuzzy Sun: Who is the boss of the band, and how do you decide that, is it the strongest? If you had a fight to the death, who in the band would win.
No Teeth: In hand to hand combat it is difficult to tell who would win, partly due to the fact none of us have any hands!
Fuzzy Sun: one of you guys (probably the loser of the band) buys a lottery tickzet for the whole band, and he goes to collect it and sees its worth a million. what would happen?
No Teeth: There’d be a new chain of soft plays on the rise I can assure you that. Our business ball pools would be well esteemed in the financial committee alongside our well trained parrots. We share everything, especially vegetation.
Fuzzy Sun: Choose: youre whole life explosive diarhhea or the face of a naked russian mole rat
No Teeth: Mole rats are beautiful on the inside.

The Belgian Heavy Psych/Stoner band Grotto released their new LP ‘Lantern of Gius’ on October 18. The LP is released on Stickman Records.
Their are two tracks on ‘Lantern of Gius’ each 17 minutes long and each times 17 minutes of psychedelic doom! gorgeous riffs and epic guitar solos. This LP is a nice piece of heavy psych and doom. Tune in now.
