KLÄMP release ‘Hate You’ on God Unknown Records

KLÄMP is Jason Stöll (Sex Swing, Twin Sister, Mugstar, God Unknown Records, Bonnacons of Doom), Greg Wynne (Manatees) and Lee Vincent (Pulled Apart By Horses, Concentration Champ). And on the new album you can hear Colin Webster (With his amazing Sax on a dozen projects) and Wayne Adams (from the brutal Deafbrick) too . Now Put all these people together and you get something really dirty. Their new album ‘Hate You’  starts of really heavy with the same titles track ‘Hate you’, then you get this aslmost catchy heavyweight ‘Arise’. ‘An Orb’ shows what the band is all about, this is a noisy track full of great guitar work. ‘Big Bad Heart’ is an industrial remix like destructive track, ‘TJ’ is riff feuled energy and epicness and the album ends with ‘No Nerves’ wich got me thinking a bit of Fu Manchu.

This album is a eerie noisy fuzzfest. Absolutely love it.

Sly & The Family Drone

Today we get the new track by noisemasters Sly & the Family Drone. I was really amazed by their previous 2019 album ‘Gentle Persuaders’, it was a really strong album that enden high on my end of the year list too. Now the new track is called ‘Shrieking Grief’ and is taken from their upcoming album ‘Walk It Dry’. The excellent album cover is made by Kazland. The new track is really heavy, the drums are intense, the saxophones and noise. Sly & the Family Drone is a band that keeps evolving and again we can hear how strong they are on this new track.

Carrom

I have shared Naujawanan Baidar from the label Radio Khiyaban in the past, and I was so happy to discover this Netherlands based label because Naujawanan really brought me a lot of listening pleasure. It ended real high on my end of the year list between all the noise and heavy psych.

Now I immidiatly started following the label ofcourse and now there is a new release by a band called Carrom. This is an Indo-Canadian psychedelic rock band and they released their full album ‘Alter-Destinies’ today and it is a gorgeous piece of exotic psych. Buy your casette now, you need it.

KLÄMP release new album

These three are former members of Mugstar, Manatees and Geisha and together they form KLÄMP.  Their new self titled album is out and is filled with fuzzed out heavy rock. A bit of psych and noise here and there makes this a pretty fun listen. There are some catchy rocknroll track on there but some really chaotic noiserock tracks too. KLÄMP new self titled album is a fun listen, their music balances perfectly between listenable heavy rock and unlistenalbe noise (wich is a good thing). Listen for yourself. Out on Box Records.

KLÄMP to release self titled on Box Records

These three are former members of Mugstar, Manatees and Geisha and together they form KLÄMP. They will release their upcoming self titled album on Box Records on October 10.

The first track ‘Shoes’ is out and is real good. On ‘Shoes’ we hear very heavy fuzzed out psych rock with a lot of noiserock influences. This is the start of something really good. For fans of the fuzzy riff.

God Unknown 51 and 52 : Two new 7 inch splits

Ah yes, everytime i see a release on God Unknown Records I get all excited. The God Unknown Label deals in the experimental, the weirder stuff, sometimes heavy noise and soothing and weird.

Now it is time for two more releases. GOD051 contains music from Daniel Bachmann, Forrest Marquisse & Ian McColm and on the B side music from Haress.

Daniel Bachman is an American Primitive guitarist and drone musician from Fredericksburg, Virginia, United States.
Forrest Marquisse is a American lap / pedal steel player.
Ian G. McColm is a multi-instrumentalist and composer residing in Richmond, Virginia.

HARESS consists of the core guitar duo of David Hand and Elizabeth Still, based in Bishops Castle in the Shropshire Hills

GOD052 contains music from The Left Outsides and a track from Mésange.

The Left Outsides are: Mark Nicholas and Alison Cotton, a husband and wife duo based in London, England whose atmospheric, hypnotic songs echo Nico’s icy European folk, pastoral psychedelia and chilly English fields at dawn.

Mésange is a collaboration between violinist Agathe Max (Kuro) and guitarist Luke Mawdsley (Cavalier Song).
