After a two decade hiatus noiserock trio Cherubs returned in 2014 and they released 2 Ynfynyty in 2015, a split with Gay Witch Abortion in 2016 and the Fist in The Air EP in 2016. In 2019 they released the excellent album ‘Immaculada High’.
Now they are going to release a new EP called ‘SLO BLO 4 FRNZ & SXY’ which will be released in October. The first track is called ‘Lazy Snakes’ and now the second one is out and it is called ‘A Pair of Pear Tarts’ and i don’t know what to say except that it is Cherubs at their best. Gorgeous noise and riffs in your face.
The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’ in 2020 and now they are back with a new self titled album. The beast is out on the great Cruel nature Records.
I could feel it without hearing the music first that this would be an absolutely awesome album. How could I feel it you would ask yourself but I can’t tell because its a secret. Anyhow, I have proven to be right because every track on this album is extremely cool. If you are planning on becoming one of the cool kids then the new Cronies should be the album you namedrop every few hours. Scream at other people that the new Cronies is the best, that is its full of brutal noiserock, oldschool riffs and agressive grunge. Scream at them in the streets, scream at them at work, at school. Scream at them in traffic. Scream it at your family. Scream along in the street while doing airguitar. Scream the lyrics while listening on your headphones.
Or don’t do anything of these things and just be a boring turd.

The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’ in 2020 and I was really blown away by the album so I am really glad they are back with new music. They have a new track out called ‘Neanderthal Sweep’ and it is taken from their upcoming album ‘Cronies’ which will ber release on Cruel Nature Records August 27.
The track is as good as I hoped it would be, promising a strong and heavy album. Noiserock melting your face off but still you can hear their psychedelic side too, a track with a vintage feel to it invoking some grunge and heavy psych vibes .
Orchestra of Constant Distress is Anders Bryngelsson (Brainbombs, No Balls), Henrik Rylander (Union Carbide Produtions, Skull Defekts) and Joachim Nordwall Idealist, Skull Defekts. They are about to release the fourth studio album called ‘Concerns’ on the great Riot Season Records. Their previous work has been extremely destructive noiserock and the first track of this new album sounds really good, the track is called’ Consistence’ and is experimental noiserock drenched in reverb and noise. Powerful stuff.
In 2020 the Finiish noiserockers released the remixed version of Bareback (Stripped & Remasked) for their 2018 album ‘Bareback’. They also released a compilation cd called ‘Decade of Passive Aggression 2009-2019’ in 2019. I really like the sound of Throat so I am really happy they have announced a new album, and with it a first track to check out called ‘Shots’. The upcoming album is called ‘Smile Less’ and will be released May 14 through Svart Records.
The German three piece Trigger cut are back after their 2019 album ‘Buster’. The new album ‘Rogo’ is out since March 1 and and is quite the beast. It seems Trigger Cut has switched to a higher gear, their music sounds fuller and maybe a bit faster and more agressive, maybe this is because the album was written during the pandemic (you probably heard about that). Ralph Schaarschmidt (you may came across his name throughout the internet about all things noiserock/postpunk) delivers the treble guitar and slightly deranged vocals on ‘Rogo’ and its those vocals that give it a bit of an extra kick for me, they make it sound a bit more crazy, give the whole album a more raw feel.
‘Rogo’ is an excellent album, it is a sonic attack of noiserock with some postpunk vibes. Lucky for you the LP is also beautifuly designed so it will fit just nice in you collection. Order it on bandcamp now.
Trigger Cut is ready to release a really strong album in March. the four tracks that are out from the upcoming album ‘ROGO’ are really great. The tracks are riff fueled noispunk tracks with enough energy to make you forget about viruses and death and other boring things. Put this tracks on repeat and make sure you have preorder the album.
The New York noise rockers Cronies released ‘An Evening with Saints’ only a while ago and they are already back with new music. Now with the EP called ‘Fresh Ideas For Transforming Natures Most Perfect Shapes’. Four riff fueled tracks filled with psychedelia. Artwork as wel as the title are very fitting for this EP.
Trigger Cut released their debut album ‘Buster’ in May last year and it was a great album for sure but I don’t know what happened, did Covid get to them? Did they eat too much peppers? Are they on hard drugs? Because the first two tracks that are out are absolutely awesome and really heavy. The First track ‘Solid State’ really hits my feels. Trigger Cut for the win in 2021. Tune in and pre-order the album now goddammit. Don’t wait, it will be gone.
On Reptilian Records is the new album by Hoaries. A band who makes a gorgeous mix of rocknroll and noiserock and I cannot help to think this is the soundtrack for te Pandemic. Their music is feral, brutal and rocknroll wich sound like a big fuck you to the world.
With tracks noisy and others catchy this heavy album is so varied it is a fun listen from beginning to end and I am quite sure I will listen to this a lot more.
Hoaries is a great band and they made a great album and everyone who says different is a turd.

What Shifting has done on their new album ‘It Was Good’ is more than good, they have crafted an intense, heavy noiserock album that is filled to the brim with anxious bass, angry vocals and a eerie postpunk feel to it. The album starts of excellent with ‘Spudgegasm’, it immediatly sets the tone for the rest of the album. The album is very varied though, the tracks switch easily between almost feel good guitartunes that soon turn moldy and noisy.
Shifting has created their very own sound that is very fun to listen to. Their is fun for the whole family in it, Sonic Youth like guitarwork, fun punk, deranged postpunk adn destructive noise rock and riff. Not much more is needed. Thank You Shifting

I think Marine Todd is from Pennsylvania and I think Marine Todd is a faily new band. If my detective skills are correct it is a duo wich is not a lot. Marine Todd are two persons that are making a lot of noise, I imagine the vocalist with a guitar on his front and a bass on his back, the micro on a stick and the drummer drumming with one hand and maybe a second guitar next to him or something. Anyway, This duo is loud and their new EP is called ‘Absolute unit’ and it is great and becuse it is great you should listen to their other EP’s too.
