On ZamZam Records comes the new album by duo Benjamin Moutte & Kevin Valentin aka Surprise Barbue. Their music is made of Synthesizers and effects and is highly psychedelic. Thei shared a first track called ‘Kabukichō’ wich is taken from their upcoming album with the same title. Tune in for some cosmic sounds.
Not long ago the band released their new track ‘Honey’ and ‘Some of Us’ and here are the Australian psych monsters again with a third new track in a short period of time! This new track is called ‘Straws In the Wind’ and is a calm and slightly psychedelic track with vocals from Ambrose Kenny-Smith.

Yes dear people, it is that time again, it is time again for new music by your favourite Australian band KING GIZZARD AND THE LIZARD WIZARD! (jeeeej jeeej jeeej cheering sounds). The band released their heavy riff fueled album ‘Infest the Rats’ Nest’ last year and released their live album ‘Chunky Shrapnel’ a while ago this year. This new song is called ‘Honey’ and was writting by frontman Stu Mackenzie acouple years back. Life if better with more King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard. Everything that is out by Oh sees, Thee Oh Sees, OCS, OSEES and whatever just gives me the chills. A while ago they shared an incredible rehearsing session for their next album that you really should check out. Now it is the OSEES session Featuring Tomas Dolas & John Dwyer & Joce Soubiran & Dog Buddy. This is some gorgeous psychedelic music, the synths and the saxophone are a gorgeous combination. Twenty nine munites of very trippy music.
CosmoPraesidium is a compilation by the Eiderdown Records Label, A benefit for the COVID-19 Crisis. All proceeds from this compilation will go to food banks in Washington state, California, and New York. The artists on the Eiderdown label have been shared a lot on Fuzzy Sun, the music on the label brings calmth and rest on this website. Most of the music here is heavy, experimental and extremely noisy but the bands on Eiderdown have always tranquilized that nervous energy. The label is filled with artists that produce dreamy acid folk, Ambient trippy landscapes, gorgeous acoustic guitar work. Artists like Prana Crafter and Elkhorn have found a place in my heart. In these times it is so nice to tune in for a moment and enjoy this soothing, dreamy and trippy tunes. Twentyseven tracks long! Please buy this album and let sounds calm you.

Hollow Ship produced their album together with Mattias Glavå(bans like Dungen, …), they called it “Future Remains” and it is out now on Punk Slime Recordings. The album is an original take on psychedelic music, It is like a futuristic version on psychedelic pop. The floaty vocals, tribal rythms and the sharp electrical guitar make this album come perfectly together. The Gothenburg band made a sunny feel good psych album and it feels refreshing and is a really nice listen. Tune in now

The Gothenburg band Hollow Ship will release their debut album “Future Remains” on Punk Slime Recordings on April 3. This band (with Mattias Glavå from Dungen, …) makes something quite unique, the base for the music is psychedelic rock but the overal vibe is something new and it is excellent and refreshing. The first two tracks are out and they sound really good, they sound happy and filled with hazy fun. Very interested in what the rest will sound like. Tune in and listen to some Hollow Ship.

Maybe it is a bit strange too say but my first introduction too Roky (who died May 31, 2019) was through the track ‘Night of The Vampire’ but not the track made by Roky, I got hooked at the Entombed version (in that time Metal and the likes where my favorite genre). Roky Erickson (founding member of the 13th Floor Elevators) released the track in 1981 and i did not exist yet. So let me share some covers of the song and especially the newly made cover by the great Chelsea Wolfe.
The album ‘>>>’ from last year is probably one of my most played records, ending with the track ‘When We Fall’ wich is just the perfect way to end the album. It ended as the best stuff of 2018 together with Gnod, Qujaku and Daughters on Fuzzy Sun’s List.

Album number eight for the Liverpool band Clinic is called ‘Wheeltappers and Shunters’. This is their first new album since 7 years. The name of the album comes from a 1970s variety television show.
The album was released May 10.

I am just going to list the people that are in this psych/prog band because their names are awesome. Lucy in Blue consists of Steinþór Bjarni Gíslason – Guitar, vocals, Arnaldur Ingi Jónsson – Keyboards, vocals, Kolbeinn Þórsson – Drums and Matthías Hlífar Mogensen – Bass, vocals.
Together they make this dreamy psychedelic prog music and they released a new album on April 19 called ‘In Flight’ wich is worth every second of your time. Tune in and enjoy the sonic landscape their created for you.

On ‘Le Sacre Du Lièvre’ Terminal Cheesecake shows that they can sonically destroy everything in a 10 mile radius with ease. Their new album is a brutal mix of noise rock, psych and industrial agressiveness. The way they combine all these different elements makes their music truly original, there aren’t a lot of psychedelic noiserock bands and Terminal Cheesecake nailed it with this album.
So their new album is released May 10 on Box records and is an absolute recommendation for the psych/noise addict.
