ORCHESTRA OF CONSTANT DISTRESS TO RELEASE ‘CONCERNS’

Orchestra of Constant Distress is Anders Bryngelsson (Brainbombs, No Balls), Henrik Rylander (Union Carbide Produtions, Skull Defekts) and Joachim Nordwall Idealist, Skull Defekts. They are about to release the fourth studio album called ‘Concerns’ on the great Riot Season Records. Their previous work has been extremely destructive noiserock and the first track of this new album sounds really good, the track is called’ Consistence’ and is experimental noiserock drenched in reverb and noise. Powerful stuff.

HIBUSHIBIRE Official Live Bootleg Vol 6

If you don’t know Hibushibire then you are missing out on really awesome music. This Japanese band makes furious heavy psych that makes your blood boil , relentless heavy trippy riffs and solos in your face. Now the band seems to have gone through some line up changes since their 2019 second album ‘Turn On, Tune In, Freak Out!so in the meantime they the great Riot Season is going to release a bootleg style LP of their live show at J.T. Shit and Shine released ‘Malibu Liquor Store’ on Rocket Recordings

Shit is getting confusing, there well come a time when I will try to make a post about Shit and Shine where I will try to order their records a bit from weird techno to strange electronics to brutal sludgenoise. Lately Craig Clouse (wich is, I think, the mastermember) has been releasing al his older albums on bandcamp and it brought me a lot of joy. So while I have been checking out all these releases Craig has been releasing new music as well.

‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’ is the album that is released on Riot Season Records and wich is mental sludgenoise. And right about the same time we have got the new album ‘Malibu Liquor Store’  wich is out on Rocket Recordings. Trippy and fat beats for moving your body. I tried moving my body on these beats and I must say it was pretty fun.

Krause share first track of upcoming 7″

Somewhere in 2019 the Greek noiserockers released their sludgy noiserock album ‘THE ECSTASY OF INFINITE STERILITY’ as a joint release by Riot Season Records and Fuzz Ink· Records! Krause is made up out of active and past members of VULNUS, Cut off, Rita Mosss, Casual Nun, Progress of Inhumanity, Dusteroid and Straighthate.

Now they are back with a new 7″ that will be released September 26  on Inner Ear Records. Their first track is out and is called ‘Vague Outlines of Almost Recognisable Shapes’ and is Krause at their best, very dirty, sludge noiserock. Tune in now and enjoy.

Shit and Shine release ‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’ on Riot Season Records

Dear people of Planet Earth, I have listened to a lot of Shit and Shine over the last years and I have to admit that I love them, I absolutely adore Shit and Shine. Their has been acid and electronic music and stuff like that and I that stuff is really good but what I love most about them is their extremely heavy sludge/noiserock. Their previous album ‘Doing Drugs, Selling Drugs’ on Riot Season Records was a such an album and it instantly ended on my number two of the year 2019.

Now, Today, ‘Goat Yelling Like A Man’ is out and it is darker and more evil and maybe even more slow then their previous  ‘DOING DRUGS, SELLING DRUGS’ . This music sounds like the evil twin brother of doommetal. Shit and Shine does it yet again.

Mummise Guns release their new album on Riot Season Records

Mummise Gunes is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them are on one or another end of the year list.

I really expected a lot from this band, you know, it is filled with members of all these other great bands so the bar was high. And they filled those expectations! Their self titled album is a magnificent piece of work. All these different (heavy) styles come together and I though it would create something ‘normal’ but  what we get is a wild ride full of unexpected turns. The album starts with ‘Flattenend Earth’ wich is  wild rocknroll but then ‘Glitter Balls’ is this gloomy noisy doom track. The fun with this album is that it has a bit of everything in it, wich makes it a varied and fun listen. Like ‘Forever Triggered Forever’ is this riff feuled bone crushing track and ‘Bipolar Brain Transmitter’ is this chaotic noise/spacerock track. On ‘Dog Cocked’ I get some White Zombie vibes and ‘End of Days’ is the perfect fast paces noisrock track to finish this awesome piece of work.

Mummise Guns doses you with controlled choas, wild unfermented noiserock, evil spacerock and Swamp Sludge. This album is clearly for the cool people, the question is: are you cool enough?

Second Mummise Guns track

This is a record that I look forward too! The band has already released the first track ‘Flattened Earth’ and I was really happy that I could premiere the video for that track.  The track is made of awesome riffs, a heavy rocknroll track that feels like a kick in the ribs.

Now the new track is called ‘Glitter Balls’ and it makes me truly happy that it is a completely different track, it immediatly shows that the band can do magic stuff with loud music. The new track is trippy, feels like angry aliens that are cruisin with their spaceship through the cosmos.

They will release the full album July 17th on Riot Season Records.

Shit and Shine is back with new extreme heaviness on Riot Season Records

Listen to ‘III’ by Sloath on Riot Season Records

Sloath has released their album ‘III’ on June 19 on Riot Season Records and it is quite something.  The album was made in 2014 and has aged since then waiting for a master to mix it and release it.

The album is filled with gorgeous riffs, a sludgy and doom atmosphere and some spacerock, you know, to make it even better. Their are a not a lot of vocals on this album and normally that is something that bothers me bot not on this album, this album has so much atmosphere that the sparcely used vocals only make it stronger. ‘III’ sounds like a fine aged wine.

Sloath share new track on Riot Season Records

Black Helium shares new song on Riot Season Records

The previous album ‘Primitive Fuck’ by Black Helium was really great so it is very nice to see they are back at it again with new music. The track they shared is called ‘Hippie on a Slab’ and comes from the upcoming album ‘The Wholly Other’ that will be released on Riot Season Records on July 24. The first track is quite impressive, its very dark and heavy, it starts with this doom vibe. While listening to the beginning I think of Yob. The chorus is catchy and really strong. This is Seven minutes of heaviness and now I am have hunger for more.

Video Premiere: Mummise Guns -Flattened Earth

Today is a good day, today there is a lot of awesome music released and I shared it and though, fuck this is nice. Then I got this message that asked if I wanted to share the new video from the track ‘Flattened Earth’ that was released a couple days ago. For those who have missed it: Mummise Gun is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them are on one or another end of the year list.

By now I listened a ridiculous amount of times to this track and I know this will be one of the most rocknroll albums of the year. Mummise Guns has riffs, punk, unfermented energy and psych in it. It has got it all! There is some wild chaos in there music, something that sounds untamed and feral.

This is the first track of the album that is released and I am extremely excited to hear more from this band. They will release the full album July 17th on Riot Season Records.

Mummise Guns share first track on Riot Season

Well, this is the kind of stuff that makes me do a little jump of joy! I saw a couple of days ago that there was a new band filled with people from awesome bands that have been a lot on Fuzzy Sun. Mummise Gun is made of members of Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs, Terminal Cheesecake, Luminous Bodies, Casual Nun, GHOLD, Black Shape, and Michael and all of these bands have been featured on this little website and most of them on one or another end of the year list. These are the bands I live for, all of them make incredible riffs, there is so much energy and heaviness in these bands, they are all original and throw in some psych, noiserock, or punk or whatever in it. So when I saw this on facebook I though, this is it, this will make the shitty 2020 a lot better. The Vinyl with the same name will be released July 17th on Riot Season Records wich is a perfect home for a record like this. Now the fun can really start with the first track that has been released. The track is called ‘Flattened Earth’ and exceeds all my expectations, again gorgeous riffs, heavy vocals perfect for something like this. And lord, the solos, the solos are godlike. Five minutes of gorgeous heaviness by a new band that will rule all the lists. Press play on Mummise Guns and enjoy the wall of energetic noise.

Shit and Shine release “Doing Drugs, Selling Drugs”

Ridiculously filthy, ear melting heavy, experimental noiserock with typical Shit and Shine noises. That’s what I think of it and I think it is amazing. Last year they released ‘Bad Vibes’ wich was an absolute banger. I’ve played the track ‘Yeah I’m On Acid’ all year round. Now that album was all beats and techno and was great but this album sounds more like USA/MEXICO (wich Craig Clouse is a member of). It even got a track featuring the great Tropical Trash on it. what the hell do you want more. I love it, I want it, I need it and I know you love it, you want it and need it too.

Everyone loves this except maybe my girlfriend who I asked to review this but did not because she said our broken washing machine sounds better.

Anyway.

Favourite track: “Cooking Steaks in the Pocket”

“Doing Drugs, Selling Drugs” is just awesome, and this album needs to be worshipped. It is out on the great Riot Season Records.

Kungens Män to release second album this year

‘CHEF’ was the latest album by the Stockholm based cosmic musicians. Kungens Män really put down a magnificent piece of work with ‘CHEF’ and it is going to end in my end of the year list as well.

So what I did not expect was another Kungens Män record in 2019. So it makes me really happy to share with you the first track ‘Hårt Som Ben’ from the upcoming album with that same name. This will be released November 29 on Riot Season Records.

The new track is what you can expect from the band. Again a cosmic track with a highly hypnotic atmosphere. Listen now.

Godd news, good news! on the great Riot Season Records label we got more music incoming by the noiserock/electronic/whateveryoucallit band Shit And Shine. Last year they released ‘Bad Vibes’ wich was an absolute banger. I’ve played the track ‘Yeah I’m On Acid’ all year round. Now that album was all beats and techno and was great but it the first track they released from their upcoming album sounds more like USA/MEXICO (wich Craig Clouse is a member of). The track ‘Salty Tomato’ is all excrutiating guitarterror, vocals from deep beneath infused with their electrosound. Seems we are going to get a violent and loud album, wich makes me happy, that is for sure.

From deep within the belly of Greece comes the ddddirty noiserockers KRAUSE. In 2017 their debut shook the noiserock nerds and geeks to the core.

‘THE ECSTASY OF INFINITE STERILITY’ is released June 7th as a joint release by Riot Season Records and Fuzz Ink· Records!

So this sounds a bit like noiserock heaven for me. This record is filled with amazing riffs, gritty vocals and overal dirtiness. An absolute killer of an album and a contender for one of the best albums of the year.

Heavy Japanese psych Hibushibire release Turn On, Tune In, Freak Out!’

The Japanese band Hibushibire released their debut ‘Freak Out Orgasm!’ in 2017 and it was in instant succes, the heavy psych sound was refreshing and filled with energy. So now the band released their second album on Riot Season Records called ‘Turn On, Tune In, Freak Out!’.

The 4 tracks are filled with heavy psych riffs, solos and great vocals. For me it is Hibushibire that nails the heavy psych sound perfectly and build a bridge between the older music and still sounds refreshing. This is the best Heavy psych band at the moment. The album is produces by Makoto Kawabata (Acid Mothers Temple, Mainliner) wich is a perfect fit.
