Noiserock and heavy psychedelic music
Cunts are made of members of Dead Cross, Qui, Retox, Virginia Reed, Hepa.Titus and Planet B. The band released their first album a while ago on Ipecac Recordings and blew me away. They are on my end of the year list og 2019 too. Now they are back with a track they made during quarantine. The track is called ‘The Nail’ and is in your face hardcore punk.

Human Impact is made from members of members of Cop Shoot Cop, Unsane and Swans. The 10 track album is full of excellent songwriting, heaviness and above all there is an gorgeous atmosphere. There is an eerie vibe throughout the album, the tracks are heavy and yet they are stuck easily in your head. It is quite clear these people have lots of experience, every track is crafted carefully and excellently executed. This self titled album was released 13 March on Ipecac Recordings.

I don’t think it’s me, I don’t think I am wrong but this year, 2020, is going to be an amazing year for music. I remember I said this last year too, in the same words probably, and it was an incredible year, so much good music but now we are only march and we have records from Casual Nun, Bruxa Maria, S.H.I.T., Wasted Shirt, Slift, Blom and so many more. And then we still have this one coming, one I really look forward too! the Newcastle band Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. Their last year album “King of Cowards” was really good and now they return with an upcoming album “Viscerals” that will be released April third on Rocket Recordings. They have already released the riff fueled stoner/doom/Heavy Psych track “Reducer” and now we get the second track “RubberNecker”. Their are touring with BLÓM by the way wich is a show you really want to see. Tune in now and check out their new song.

It has been a while since we heard from the Belgian rockers The Waltz. Somewhere in 2018 they released the track “Force Publique” and in 2019 the track “Television”. Now the ban has signed to Poetwannes Records for their 2020 comeback. They have released a track called “Fear”. Tune in now and play loud.

The Newcastle based heavyness Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs are back with new music. After the gorgeous album “King of Coward” back in 2018 they return with a new one called “Visceral”. They shared their opening track and it is a cyclone of guitar violence, heavy in your face riffs with a psychedelic atmopshere. If the rest of the tracks are as good as “Reducer” then we are in for one hell of an album. “Visceral” will be released April 3.

This band makes in your face punkrock, punkrock of the real kind, the kind that makes you slightly agressive and filled with energy you did not now you had. They just released their new album “Cunts” on Ipecac Recordings. This is 13 tracks long awesome punknoise. I am a bit blown away by this, this album is extremely fun to listen to, every track is great, there is an awesome Tom Waits cover on it. This album has it all.I absolutely recommend this album to everyone who like their music feral and energetic. Cunts are awesome. Released November one on Ipecac Recordings.

The Danish SPOT festival the Danish rockers Mavourneen played their track ‘Bliss’ at the Tapetown Sessions. The track is coming from a yet to be announced debut album. A fresh band emerging out of nothing with a ferocious and raw sound.

Somewhere in France are three dudes who go under the name of Lysistrata. The band released their debut album on Vicious Circle Records in 2017.
Now the band is back with a new track from their upcoming album. ‘Breathe in/Out’ will be released October 18 again on Vicious Circle Records.

This weekend I told someone I have never listened to SMTB and that person looked at me all strange and just left without saying something. Really glad he left cause he was some weird hipster but I still felt like maybe I should listen to SMTB.
So I did, and I have to admit I was instantly hooked. This band produces experimental punk fueled with anger and noise. They recently released their new LP ‘Dog Whistle’ and it is absolute fun to listen to. There are a lot of different vibes and genres throughout the album wich keeps it interesting. The hipster seems to be right.

Now they are getting ready for the release of their new album called “Nest” wich will be released on Sargent House March 29.
